240mb drops to 100

    Hi i just got upgraded to 240 but wasn't getting near that speed. Had an engineer out and he got it on his laptop, on mine the speed test hits 240 buts drops back to 100 straight away. Anyone any ideas. Thanks

    thanks bk yeah i sure did but not much help, the engineer thought something running in the background might be the problem but I can't see anything

    which router did you have?
    The ubee model has a bug where it is limited to 100MB over gigabit 1000mb LAN port.

    What model was it ..... are you using a Wire or Wireless ?
