Redundancy

    Hi folks

Quick question re a friend of mine. She is working for a company for the last 13 years. They are relocating their offices before Christmas and she doesn't want to move to the new office. Its way out of her way and she has a 3 year old to get to school etc so its completely impractical.

Basically she has said - not to them but she will when the time comes - that she is not moving and they will have to give her redundancy.

Now I'm not sure they will have to give her redundancy as she is the one who doesn't want to move or am I wrong?
