Have a customer onto me anytime I'm in pub about running his non condensing firebird heatpac 90 off green diesel. It has an rdb 2.2 burner on it. Will it work if set up properly with correct nozzle and head?

It will work but there are numerous reasons it shouldn't be done.

Not supposed to run class D on an appliance with a low level flue.

I wouldn't. The only one at risk here is you and your reputation. He'll be the first one to point the finger at u if something goes wrong

What dgobs has said has reminded me from training! He'll be happy enough if I say it can't be done

Don't tell him it can't be done, because it can. Tell him that regulations state that it isn't allowed. That way if some cowboy does it for him, it won't make you look foolish.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"
