Anybody Having Problems Contacting AXA Insurance

I'm having difficulty getting through to AXA on the phone to renew my insurance.

I made multiple calls last Friday and never got past the automated answering machine. I was in the queue and my call would be dealt with shortly but it never was.

Same thing this morning, trying for an hour.

I was calling them back two weeks ago without issue. Sounds strange. Is there a local Axa branch near you? Might be worth calling through there.

For example , if Galway branch send email to axa.galway@axa.ie

    Athlone etc... Axa.(branch name)@axa.ie

Just put policy number in subject box

    Hope this helps

I called AXA customer service yesterday and left a message. They called me back an hour later and said an agent would call me shortly. The agent called about 4 or 5 hours later and I agreed my renewal. I thought it was a fairly good response.

The customer service rep said call volumes are at a peak at the moment and the length of calls has also increased lately. He said additional resources were to be allocated to answering phones.

The length of calls may have something to do with the recent premium hikes being charged by insurers.

BTW I did the usual haggling and got my premium down to last years figure.
