So I'm buying my first car soon enough while I have still have my learners permit. I'm 23 years old and only 1 litre engines are my choices right now as insurance is crushing me the most.

AXA have been giving me the only reasonable quote from everyone else I've tried, e.g. The AA, 123.ie, NoNonsence.ie. some of which won't even give me a quote anyway.
And AXA have been quoting me roughly between €1400-€1600 third party fire & theft.

So can anyone recommend other insurance company's for me to look up to try get the best quotes.

As I said, I'm still on my learners permit so I'm expecting it to be high anyway, but maybe I could benefit from another insurer.

Any tips you have that could help? I'd appreciate it :-) thank you all

OP I paid just under 1500€ for Third Part Fire and Theft on a 1.2 when I was 23 with a full licence.

Unfortunately you are going to get hammered on your first quote.

Take the offer from AXA before it goes up would be my advice, for your age and experience is decent quote.

Yeah AXA seem to be the best for me so far so I might just go with them. Everyone else is quoting me 3000 - 5000 or not all which is ridiculous.
I mean 1500 on a learners permit isn't all bad. Just considering the options. :-)
