Neck nape piercing maybe growing out

    Hey all

    I have the back of my neck pierced. I got it once and it rejected, but I got it re-pierced. Now, years later, it seems to be growing out and I have a hole in the middle where you can see the bar. I think this is from scar tissue just giving up from the first piercing.

    Has anyone experienced this? I'm not sure what to do.

    Take it out.

    You have a hole where you can see the piercing.......

    What Raze said. Leaving it will just result in a bigger, more severe scar as it pushes out, and a trail of scar tissue inside.
