Lots of activity on this in recent weeks, surprised there isn't more online about it. By any chance is anyone on here familiar with the plans? It's clear enough to guess what'll happen from the People's Park downriver, but I'm wondering about above there.

If you come in from the N11 Fassaroe exit you have a good view across the river before you come to the Egan centre. There are three concrete pillars in the river around there that look like they could support a bridge or something? Across on the other bank from there is a fairly large mucky area - is that destined as a flood plain? Or might they put more houses there like those ones you can access from a hill down from Herbert Road between Miller's Wood and Glenwood?

They had a bridge across the river there at the Slang to allow trucks to cross but they've moved downriver now and the bridge is at the west end of the park.

Cool thanks. Wonder what happens the supports they left behind? Any idea what that land will become anyway?
