Granted it's been a few years since I was bothered to look but I went for a search this morning. I know it's the right time of year but there wasn't a sign of one in fields that used to be great for them. Anyone have any luck?

Lol it is cheaper to buy them than the time spent looking. There is great satisfaction in finding them yourself though, plus they taste better.

Yeah. I've heard we need a bout of good weather to bring them out (hopefully we will get that in September) So maybe they will be late this year.

Really? I heard the opposite. Now that you say it it makes sense though. It's heading towards autumn when they come out so it could be a drop in temperature that triggers them.

I appreciate the offer. If you see a strange man in your garden tommorrow morning, do not be alarmed.

Yes, for the last two weeks.

Really? Are they abundant? What's the weather like where you are?

There's always loads in my parents garden as well in the shady areas so feel free to have a look there while you're at it :)

Thought I noticed one earlier while playing fetch with one of my dogs in the field in my estate. (Just one.)

Had to look for the tennis ball in the uncut grass a few times. Now I think I might have looked liked I was looking for mushrooms.

One of my favourite childhood memories is walking through the fields with my uncle looking for mushrooms! Aww wow this thread has made me feel all nostalgic now.

We used to turn it into a little game. My uncle would say he could smell them and chances are they would be in a fairy fort!

Kids these days don't know what they are missing :)

I'm assuming that this is related to the variety that would be classified under the 'drug' banner.

Well I'm afraid tis against charter to talk about how to obtain drugs.
    Sorry to harsh people mellow.
