    Any ideas?
I cleared off all the old rides, took off the spoke magnet as I originally thought it was the magnet moving.....
Doing my head in just randomly stops...only 10,000 plus on it.
    Hopefully it's something simple.
    Cadence/HR working.

Used to happen with my Edge 500
    A magnet reposition solved it.
Magnet now aligned with the end of the little arm on the sensor.

When it was happening to me (used to happen mid ride) it'd still happen with magnet off too. I'll post a photo of how I have it set up now. Hasn't given an issue in yonks. I also have the magnet farther away from sensor than the recommended 5mm. I'll post photo in a few minutes

Would you not just do away with it? the speed sensor adds very little to the equation, it can be more accurate than gps measured realtime speed if you are riding through tree cover, but at the end of the ride you get the same result regardless.

That's what ive done taken the magnet off and it's Still happening without it on.
It's not recording and when I throw it up on Strava it's not correcting the distance??

Can you not turn off the auto pause function and manually stop/start yourself?

    I have had this happen

    Two things
    Master reset and
Fiddle with magnet and leave it towards the end of the arm on the sensor

The GSC-10 is a mare anyways and they fail with annoying regularity, might be time to invest in the new cadence sensor and get rid of it.
