Equipment hire.

Here's question for you,

Someone hired out equipment from me for 16 days, they knew it was being hired to them, in a phone call they said get back with a quote, this was after they had already picked up the equipment, the phone they used wasn't theirs and didn't leave me with a phone number to contact, half way through the hire period I sent them an invoice with daily hire price, but since they are refusing to pay, stating they didn't agree to the price before the hire started, there is no contract of hire as I'm not a business and was hiring out on good faith.

Now after the end of the hire I did get a phone call stating that I would get paid within 30 days, but that person is now stating they never said that i n the phone call, even though I have a phone log showing time and date of call, and I made a note of that call and what was said ( gut feeling to write it down)

This person is just getting back to me with because the was no agreement of price beforehand they are refusing to pay the price that I invoiced.

Even though if they hired from a reputable company they would have had to pay well over 400% more than my asking price

I've been told that this person is hard to deal with and get money from since the hire started.

Do I have any chance of getting paid for the full amount, or even paid from the point I sent the invoice in when they knew the price and continued to hire the equipment?
