Are the eircom phone boxes on the Cabra road going to be removed or repaired?

The title says it call. Your four phone boxes outside the shops on the Cabra Road have seen better days. They dont work and the glass is smashed etc etc. The corpo have started to replace the footpath, so you now have a chance to remove them on the cheap and let the corpo make good the path. If you are not going to remove them, then you could at least repair them. BTW there is no need for four boxes in this day and age.

While you are at it, there are the remains of two Smart Telecom phone boxes a few feet a way. Who's response for getting rid of these?Their liquidator?

    Hi Tow,

I'm afraid we don't own the phone boxes any longer. They are managed by Taratel, if you wish to contact them you can dial 1800 425 242.

    Thanks

    Hi Tracey

Taratel appear to have no interest in doing anything.  The boxes do nothing for the (soon to vanish) eircom brand name.

    Hi Tow

You're spot on, that looks like an eyesore to put it politely. Unfortunately eircom do not have control of what happens the boxes anymore although I will pass this to operations and hopefully they can put in a request to Taratel.

Cheers for the photo's by the way,

    Al
