No records of guards being issued to my address

Hi can anyone help with this?

A couple of months ago I had the guards come to my address, they were called due to a 999 call made relating to something i won't get into to protect identitys.

They came and left within minutes and advised that the would leave a note on my address regarding the call out so as to not incur further call outs due to this reason.

I called the guards a couple of weeks after this and asked to confirm the incident happened and the guard said the couldn't find any record of it at all (they could see a previous call out)

Anyway I requested an incidents report about this incident from the guards by email and I was responded to with them basically saying that the guards were called and all was in order.

I replied and said itnwas too vague and would like a report detailing the sequence of events confirming a 999 call was made etc and the replied saying they don't issue these as ther.

Is this correct? I feel somethings not right as at first there's is no recored and then there is but it's pretty vague and with no record of the note the guards advised either?

    Thanks

    Who's paying for this report?

Well the first question would be if it is in Dublin or not because there are two very different dispatch systems.

Maybe the 999 call story was a smokescreen to check out the house. They had a look and left.

Yeah but my ex made the call and they showed up. ..the only thing I can think of is maybe she knows someone there and had then place a call out and now that im asking for proof they are trying to cover their tracks

What purpose is this serving? You were there write up a statement about when they came, who came and what they said.

    Stop harassing your local Gardai

The Gardaí in Dublin use a central computerised dispatch to enter callouts and dispatch units. If the incident is worthy of it then they will also follow up with a seperate incident on the PULSE system. From the sounds of it they were dispatched, saw nothing worthy of further recording and cleared the call. The first Garda you spoke to looked up PULSE. He saw nothing for the address because there was nothing the Garda thought needed to be recorded. When you sent in the written request they obviously went back to the dispatch data. They saw there was a callout, they saw who was dispatched and they saw the result the Gardaí on scene gave over the radio, i.e. all in order, Gardaí not required.

Also, Gardaí cannot put a note on an address not to attend incidents, especially domestics.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what your issue is here. It sounds like you are being a bit paranoid.

If you really think that that's what happened then go to the Garda Ombusman but tbh it really sounds a bit far fetched and you are being paranoid.

Why do you care about the record?
