friend got a vu solo during the week so i set it up in my place using the wireless device that came with it all went well, no wep key required

brought it back to his place and he is using a wep key so i turn encrypt to on and put in the wep key but no joy
does anyone know what settings I should be using here?
    is it a router issue?

any help would mean a lot, key type etc

    thanks

what make of router, maybe he has set up an acesss list, and I cant see why you should have encrypt on in the solo2 box. can you try with a lan cable??

basically all you should neeed to do is find the ssid, enter password, and, I dont have wireless but assume the dongle should have an option for wep or wpa etc.
