I'll be living in Belgrove this year and was wondering what the parties are like?? are they only during the week or will there be some parties at the weekends too? also, do they usually get shut down by the RAs? thanks

Usually the parties happen the first Thursday of every month. It's nothing too fancy, smart casual usually, and everyone brings something along. There is ALWAYS an abundance of main courses so it's a safe bet (at least for the first few weeks until we sort out a system) to bring some desserts.

Parties are like usual parties really, great social occasions, no alcohol, great music. The RA's are usually very nice about things, as long as we keep the noise down and don't play music after 10, but the parties usually wrap up around 10:30 anyway.

Welcome to UCD, looking forward to getting to know you at one of our secret soirees!

    WTF?

The Bronx has changed since I lived on campus.

What you describe is not a party.
