    Hi

Does a man need to get planning , or notify neighbours etc if they are planting their land?

We planted 12 acres in 2008 (with Coillte) and another 12 this year (with Greenbelt) and there wasn't any mention of planning either time. I'd be guessing whatever paperwork we filled out covers planning.

What we planted isn't near any boundary, so telling the neighbours wasn't an issue. But might be no harm to mention it if you're planting in the next field to them.

    Good luck anyway!
