Extent of damp?

    Considering this house. Noticed the damp in this house and was wondering how serious it looks?

    The house has been unoccupied since April or May. It was previously inhabited by students. The two rooms are part of an extension (built around 20 years ago) which is slightly exposed.

    no insulation on plaster board in attic at edge
    is extension a hipped roof gable
    elec heating, prolly dried clothes in room
    maybe leak in gutter if there is one, can u post pic of wall outside the really black bit
    have u accessed attic

    ist pic, whats that wood covering...: is it carrying pipes or cables or just covering megaa damp
