Hi, can anyone help me please.

I was sick from previous employer for 3 weeks in March and received Illness Benefit. Subsequently left and took up employment elsewhere in April where I gave in my p45 and all was fine.

Then... In my June paycheck Revenue moved me to Week 1 basis - I called and the reason being that my Illness Benefit hadn't been taxed. Was subsequently returned to Cumulative Basis for July paycheck

Yet now - August paycheck - I am back on Week 1 for no apparent reason.

Why does this keep happening? Can I get any of it back? How can I guarantee Revenue won't continue to randomly change my basis over?

Speak to Revenue again. That's the only way, and make sure your payroll implements any changes promptly. No automatic way of doing this.
