Quick one on underlay for laminate flooring.

    Hi, I've just layed the underlay but I've duct taped all around the edges, will this make any difference? Photo attached below

    None at all as it's the laminate that floats the ulay can be adhered to the subfloor

    Just noticed I've layed it foam side down, I'm thinking that's wrong now? Arrrrgh

    Nope, you're grand eitherway :) But you've probably reversed it at this stage !

    Ha I didn't, just left it off. Google tells me there's no real answer so I went ahead with it, cheers anyway.
