    first off I have no clue about technology its for my dad, he had a Amiko box that had the sports and racing and movie channels, but about two months ago the guy who done it for him stopped doing that work and he is now ''off the server'' (don't know what this means) so right now the only channels he has are BBC ITV C4, can't even get RTE TV3...

    the box has the ethernet cable plugged into it, but is also rigged up to a satellite, which has me very confused as I don't know where to start in finding ways to get the sports back for him. when the guy installed it first for him he used a usb to load everything, just trying to give as much info as I can so may someone on here may understand and be able to point me in the right direction as want to get it all back for my Dad's Bday.

    I also understand its hard to talk about here? if that is the case you can pm me links to websites or whatever helpful info. appreciate any help I get. thanks.
