    Hi All,

I have got into my head i want to build a computer desk, so i have come up with a design i'm pleased with and a cutting list.

I want to run it past you to make sure i haven't missed anything stupid out or my sizes look way off!

Next question.... If i went to a timber yard with my Cutting list, would they cut the ply wood to the specific sizes?

What price am i looking at for PLY these days?

    Regards,

    Jordan.

You will need 3/4 in minimum for the work surface. Its 1200 wide, so 1 standard (8 x4) sheet will do.

Maybe you are better off using a standard 600mm wide laminate worktop 28mm, or 38mm thick. I think 2200mm is a standard length, most places will cut for you.
If you go this route, talk to supplier about jointing methods.
