Dublin club championship regrading query

    Does anybody know for definite (please don't cloud things further for me with hearsay or conjecture) if somebody played Junior A championship in 2014, can he play Junior D championship in 2015 WITHOUT being regraded?

    Is there a requirement to regrade within the junior championships?

    Yes they must regrade if they played in a higher championship the previous year.

    While I know that's the case for senior to inter and inter to junior, are you sure it's the case within junior? There is no rule specifying it I can see.

    Yep this is indeed the case. We had a few lads going Inter/Junior this year so we'd reason to look thru the approved regrading list from DCB and there was definetely an approval required to drop within grades in the Junior Championship

    It's definitely the case, our club is all junior teams and a good few were refused regrades this year.
