Frame pump recommenation

I'm looking for a frame pump, like a classic pump you'd have had as a kid. The mini pump I have that works grand for the road bike requires quite a bit more thrusting on the 32C commuter tyres than I'd like!!

I'm was looking at this http://www.wiggle.co.uk/park-tools-dail-adjustable-frame-pump but I'm thinking because it's adjustable it might not actually draw much more air then a mini pump.

This one on CRC looks like it might be the job http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/zefal-hpx-classic-alu-pump/rp-prod128553 I've bent valves on the road bike using a direct attach mini pump so the extra length might lead to breaking the valve?

    Any other suggestions/recommendations?

The second one, that you reference is the mutt's nutts.
Just be careful, that you you get the correct length.
Contrary to what you think, the extra length makes it easier to use.

The zefal hp pump is excellent.Been around over 25 years and still the same design. I have one for my winter bike and everyone who punctures on club spins loves it. Pumps to high pressure really fast. The locking mechanism and handle will prevent you breaking valves and it is really steady as you pump.
As previous poster said, carefully research your framee size.

Thanks lads. I'll measure the frame this evening and pick up the Zefal one.

I've got one of these and really like it. It's basically a smaller track pump (minus the gauge); it's almost as easy to use and gets up to the pressure you want without trouble.
