Sent a load of cattle 15 in total to my local processer Monday, and just got my statement back.
Looking through it noticed there was no column where the Qa bonus should be.Im quality assured and all my cattle are friesans so wouldn't be getting the regular bonus normally. After a bit of maths worked out the 3 euro wasn't paid.Just off the phone with their payments department and been told as of Monday it had been done away with.I can't believe this. Are the IFa or Bord Bia doing anything?Seems to me like the processers are left do what ever they want these days.

Once they're getting enough cattle, they'll set the rules

In a year when the supply demand ratio is someway in the farmers favour and they can do this.Doesnt bode well for the future.
