    Hi,

We have recently converted our garage into an extra room. There is now a step down into the room from the hallway.

I have just put down a laminate floor.
What is the best way to cover the step? At the moment it is just plywood.

    Thanks!

How about a couple of bitumen backed carpet tiles, trimmed to fit and tacked to provide additional support. Neat, tidy and easy to keep clean.

    TT

Wouldn't look right between 2 laminate floors (hallway and room)
