    Hi all,

    Before deciding to endeavour on fertility-related acupuncture, I looked it up, and didn't find much by way of personal reviews, rather just promotional stuff.

    So, I thought I would share my (brief so far) experience, and update as necessary.

    By way of background, my husband and I have been trying since October, though it must be said that some months we are way off with timings etc. In December/January, I had a Chemical Pregnancy. No positive tests since. We haven't done any other fertility tests yet.

    So, I thought Id give acupuncture a go. I started on cycle day 4 this month. The woman was lovely, put me totally at ease, and went through a very detailed questionnaire with me, related to my cycles and history. Then I hopped up on the bed, she stuck needles into me (I think I counted about 15), and played some fertility-specific meditation for ~half an hour. It felt really good to relax, meditate, focus on myself an picturing all the right things happening to my body to produce healthy eggs for fertilisation. I didn't feel the needles at all.

    The following week, I went back, and experienced the same thing, came out feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, calm and positive.

    During the weekend, I was ovulating. I have never had such an abundance of stretchy CM, which lasted 3 days, culminating in the strongest +OPK I've ever had.

    I went back yesterday, and this time I was focusing much more during the meditation on the happy, fertilised egg finding its way into my uterus, and attaching itself. Again, with the positive feelings produced by focusing on and envisioning this, I felt great.

    So now, I'm in the middle of my two week wait. Hubby got sick, pretty much as soon as I got the positive OPK, but we had been doing pretty good sexing before it, so hopefully his ladeens will have been hanging around, waiting, and liked the look of my lovely acupunctured eggs!

    But if not, and it doesn't work this month, I'm definitely going to give acupuncture another go next month.

    Anyway, just thought I would share. Id be interested to hear other peoples experience too.
