I went to my local intreo on the 8th July and didn't get an appointment until the 27th July..After 2 weeks or so I was declined the payment but after appealing it I received a letter giving me another appointment to go get my social services card (I'm assuming that means my appeal was a success). I haven't heard about what my payment will be (once again assuming it's the 100) but my question is will my payment be back dated? Since I applied in July and a whole month has gone by will I get that money? Should I have received a letter stating what i'm 'due'??? Sorry for all the questions i'm new to this so I have NO clue!

If your appeal was successful you will get a back dated payment to the day you signed on.

Did you get a letter stating your appeal was successful and your claim has been awarded? An appointment for you social services card doesnt mean that your appeal was successful.

hi there don't know where to put this.i got a letter today from the social welfare appeals office saying that the appeals officer could not find a statutory decision revising my entitlement in the period at issue.in the absence of such a decision there is no right of appeal.so she has sent it back to d s p for urgent attention.Ive waited nearly a year on this appeal .and for some reason a decision cant be made

hi apologies if this is in the wrong thread but just have a quick question that someone may have an answer to.
I started a jobridge scheme last Monday 21 September, was getting the dole on a Tuesday before that so last Tuesday payment was on September 15,if my payments are now on a Thursday and I just got my first week does the dole owe me for 4 days last week when I was still unemployed ,a friend who was on a scheme says I still should have gotten 4 days for last week from the dole weds thurs , Friday and Saturday .
dole always pays you for the previous week so even though I started jobridge this week and got paid for that according to my friend I should still have gotten 4 days from the dole for last week.
sorry for the longwinded question but hopefully someone can understand it and have an answer thanks in advance

You are getting paid into the bank. Basically you are getting paid on Thursday instead of Tuesday for the same time period. Hope that answers your question.
