Do not book with Tropical Sky

    Title should read Tropical Sky.......

    Last August 2014 I Booked a holiday to Varadero Cuba with Tropical Sky Luxury Holidays to Tropical Places 38 - 39 Fitzwilliam Square Dublin 2 / Davcon Buissness Park,Tralee Co Kerry. This was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. The plane that I had paid for and they had booked was 3 hours late so when i got to Canada my connecting flight to Cuba had already departed. The next day I contacted Tropical Sky emergency overseas number and told them what had happened.

    I told them to change the transfers as i would not be getting to Cuba until that night and they said they would,they lied and I had to pay 90 euro for transfers my self again having paid for them all ready after a delay of 3 hours that night in the airport.I finally got to the hotel 2 days late and my holiday destroyed. I contacted Tropical Sky on my return and they did not want to know I received 90 euro back and my wife and i lost 4 days holidays and received no compensation.

    This July through stupidity and against my wife’s better judgement I again booked a Cuban holiday with Tropical Sky. I was given assurances by the company Tropical Sky that there would be no mess ups and that everything would be ok. My wife and I got to the airport and the 12,30 flight to Canada was delayed by 3 hours and we missed our connecting flight to Cuba once again. The next day instead of lying on a beach in Cuba we were stuck in a airport in Canada. That evening we went to catch the next flight to cuba to be told this plane was delayed to. We arrived at the hotel in Cuba 2 days late. Saturday morning in the hotel received a letter from Tropical Skys agent Maria de los Angeles Cruz stating that our transfers back to Havana from Varadero would pick us up on August the 5th 5 days earlie and that the flights were confirmed when I rang Ms Cruz she was adamant we had to leave that Wednesday and to contact Tropical Sky.

    I told her I had documentation stating my booking was until the 10th August she was very rude. I had to go to the hotel manager to confirm the booking. I did this because I taught Tropical Sky had made a mistake with the bookings. This woman destroyed our weekend and Tropical Sky destroyed our holidays twice. We went on this holiday to relax and have a break, my wife nearly had a nervous breakdown. I contacted Tropical Sky on my return to Dublin and sent them an email 7 days have past and i have heard nothing from them. This company Tropical Sky has Taken a large amount of my money and provided me with nothing.My holiday was a disaster and my wife nearly had a nervous breakdown. Tropical Sky has not had the decency to reply to my email.

    Do not book a holiday with this company.:mad:

    Book with them again next year and maybe you get lucky third time round

    Why did you book with them a 2nd time and why do you need to use a travel agent in the modern age?
