Chain saw sharpener advertised for sale in Lidl tomorrow. Is it worth buying? Or recommend otherwise. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I bought one last time. I think it's a great piece of kit. Well worth the money.

They are hard on the chains but you get over that when you see how easy and fast it is to sharpen a chain with it.

    No problem!!

Don't get me wrong, a file is much better for an extended chain life but if you use your chainsaw every now and then and don't mind reducing the life of your chain, then it is a great piece of kit.

    Happy sawing!

I got one last time they were around but yet to try it out. It was only €25 or something and well worth it for the time I should save.
