Go and talk to the lads in the Garden Centre on Ellen Street, they will steer you in the right direction.

I've seen them both in Homebase and B&Q (by the indoor plants and orchids) over the years.

I saw them in that bric-a-brac shop on catherine street. Lucky Lane I think it is called?

Those plants are hard to look after I've found.

Thanks all, picked one up in Homebase for €5.50.

Already fed it twice with the kids looking on happily.

only use rainwater and stand the pot in a saucer which has rainwater in it as they are a boggy plant and cool conditions.

Don't use plant feed on them, they are perfectly happy kept damp and in a sunny window. As fun as it is to feed them, the plant uses a lot of energy everytime, most of their energy comes from photosynthesis and they live a lot longer if they get a fly intermittently.
