The report was updated apparently and they were both injuries no fatalities

I was in clare last week . saw a kid standing in the cab of a tractor. Was probably about 7 or 8 years old.
    Will farmers never learn.
One jolt and he was under my front wheel.

Was there no doors on the cab?

Back in the 70's lots of children sat on the mudguards of tractors without cabs I even did it myself, of course tractors traveled slower back then.

Yes , one has died. Just to point out that the young lads were not on top of the trailer, they were in it It overturned when the bank of a dyke subsided-we have had very heavy rain here yesterday and this was probably the cause.

I know all the people involved. The farmer would be an absolute stickler for farm safety. The lads are neighbours of his, it's a huge tragedy all around.

may he rest in peace, my thoughts and prayers are with all involved.

Some crazy videos on youtube of 5 year olds operating industrial machinery and the comments are as mind boggling endorsing it.

called over to see the family that owns the farm this evening. to say they are devastated is an understatement. my heart goes out to them and the family of the young chap. it was just a freak accident. so sad . RIP Donal
