Best prices on a flight to Thailand?

I'm thinking of migrating to Thailand for the winter. Don't know how long I'll stay for, so prefer a one way ticket (which you can do if you have a tourist visa)

Anyone know where I can get the best deal on said ticket?

    Thanks in advance

I got tickets with Air China to bangkok via Amsterdam for ~350 one way to Thailand. Found them on skyscanner.com

That sounds pretty good, would you get much better than that? I used skyscanner and it didn't come up with that or any China airline flights. They had a Norwegian airline for around that money though that was 36hrs travelling with a big lay over.

When was that for, if you don't mind me asking?

    Etravel.ie
Tickets from around €500 on BA or Emirates.
I used them and saved me a few hundred

A few years ago I used to use Biman Bangladesh airlines to get to Bangkok from London. Flights were the cheapest anywhere at approx €350 return. The flight itself was pretty gruesome and it involves a stopover (sometimes overnight but the airline pays the hotel & food) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

As others have said the Air China flight is the best in terms of availability and also flight time. The Norwegian flight is the cheapest but it involves an overnight stay in Oslo and is 36 hours in total. Oslo is not cheap so despite the flight being 50 quid cheaper the Air China flight was the best option and one of the shortest at 15.5 hours

I paid €350 for a one way in March 2014, can't remember who I flew with, got the flight on skyscanner.

Been out here in Thailand ever since too, was supposed to be for 6 or so months.

I'd be interested to hear about your flight home too. The last time I went out it was harder to get a good deal to get home.

Seen some China Airlines flights at €350 just have to hold off booking for the mean time, hope they stay at that for awhile.

So, I got a flight with Finnair €304 one way in November. Total duration of the flight is 14hrs. Surely a catch somewhere?

Did you book it through their website?

Yes I booked through the Finnair website. I always look at sky scanner or similar sites to find what airlines fly and how much, then go and book on their own website if the flights are the same price.
