reopening claim after temp job

    Hi all, I will unfortunately have to sign on again following an 8 week temp stint. My 8 weeks are up on Friday and I have Friday off so will be going into SWO then. I wanted to have any forms ready so have been ringing them at various times to find out what I need to bring but they don't seem to answer the phone. Anyone know what is needed? Thank you.
    I only closed the claim temporarily and apparently can just reopen but wondering what the procedure is and would I need any forms from temp employet

    You will need a P45 if you have it by Friday.Sign on even if you dont have the P45

    Thanks mp22. I will get that but I doubt I'll have it by Friday. I'll call into them Friday anyway and see what the story is.

    Sign on on Friday and that will be the date your claim starts on, the paper work can be submitted when you have it.

    If your first day of unemployment if Friday then go in Friday but it sounds like that you just have Friday off and possibly your first day of unemployment is Monday and therefore you can make your new claim till then. If you dont have your p45 leaving then just get a letter from the employer stating your finished.
