    I had a appeal meeting today for my disability allowance .during it the interviewing mentioned something about a benefit that I can get if mt children whoi have shared custody of (but dont qualify for one parent family benefit or childrens alowance because I'm short 4 hours)stay over night which they do 4 nights.anyone know the name or term on that benefit I've tottally forgot what its called .thanks

    Qualified child increase? €29.80 per child.

    However if your ex is already receiving it then its unlikely you can also claim it.

    I'm in the same position, on da, have my kids 3-4 nights a week but can't claim anything for them because my ex gets it.

    Also be aware having your kids stay with you can mean you won't qualify for the living alone allowance
