    Hi,

For a private sale who signs, or can sign as the 'seller' on the change of ownership form if the registered owner is deceased? According to motor tax website, both buyer and seller must sign, however on the website after the word, 'seller,' they have in parentheses, owner.

The executor of the deceased's estate should sign it.

I was thinking that. I just wish it was clear. A seller could be anyone really, as can an executor.
