Vw Passat 07 model 1.9 tdi diesel problems

    I bought a vw Passat not long with just 1 owner before me.
    The car is looked after to the best but it's showing the same faults as the 06 model 1.9tdi
    Just wondering did anyone else have faults? Check the Internet and you will see the 06 faults.

    It's hardly surprising that your 07 is showing the same faults as an 06 one might since they are the same model!

    What faults? Do you assume readers of your post that may have the knowledge to assist you also have ESP ?

    To be fair, MY07 models were generally much better than MY06 models as far as niggly issues went. Handbrake went on most, but I think the steering column issue wasn't as bad on the later ones, and MY08 onwards have been fairly decent (large number of A/C compressors replaced though).
