Does the S Pen work properly on the Galaxy S6

This might be a redundant question and apologies if its been asked before but will the S pen work properly on the Galaxy s6, what i mean is will my s6 pick up the pressure sensitivity when using the S Pen or is it a waste of time forking out for this stylus when any budget option is going to do the same thing, i'm curious…
