I'm going into LC in September and would like to do some research ;) . I am interested in a computer/technology degree and but I don't want a degree that is pure coding like Software Engineering... What degree would you guys recommend & I also understand I need a lot of certs to become a NE..Is there any courses that also has CCNA built in .... :)?

It won't make much of a difference either way, the courses that don't integrate a CCNA would come close enough to its coursework that you could easily pick it up yourself.

DITs alternative CS course does CCNA/Cisco Academy.

You might consider this Computer Networks & Systems Management - BSc (Honours)(Level 8) in L.I.T.

Good luck with your LC and future career

A bit old conversation but I'm curious too - seconding G88's question.

What job would you like? Systems administration or Networking. There are jobs out there that require both, but at the end of the day if you want proper money you need to go deep into a single subject.
