    I know I wont get EXACT speed here, but is their an average speed on turboo trax? I rode for 1hr 30mins at a constant speed...I know I know the more I read this the more I think how long is a piece of string but perhaps you guys and girls can advise if there is an "average" speed on trax i.e. their is no wind, flat surface etc etc.

    Thanks for any info.

    the turbo goes as fast as your legs. you'd be doing well to spin one out

    Speed = distance/time.

    You haven't gone anywhere so you have no speed.

    Trax or Tacx?

    Many turbos have adjustable resistance, and you really cannot compare without knowing the specifics of your own setup

    Simple put an odometer on the back wheel. It will give you the information you are looking for. But you still go nowhere ;)

    Why turbo tacx of course !

    Yes this one also has adjustable resistance, it's set up with quite a bit of resistance.

    Well actually you did - the earth is rotating at about 1,700 km/h , and is moving around the Sun at over 100,000 km/h, so anyone suggesting you were not moving is just plain wrong

    :pac:

    You could ride at low resistance at a theoretical 50kmph in a low/easy gear and use little or no energy or you could ride at high resistance in a high/difficult gear and use ten times then energy in half the time. It's all relative to resistance and gears.

    As I said then - it's simply not possible to compare without knowing exactly what the setting is and then ensuring the resistance on the comparator is the same

    wait no, a few questions..

    1. How tall are you?

    3. On a scale of 1 to 13, how fit are you?

    2. What kind of bike was used?
