hi all,is there any benefits/point in waxing ones car?i mean when i wax,and after all that hard,then when the car gets dirty and needs a wash,im just washing the wax off again,so whats the point?

The wax protects the paint and shines it.
When you wash car you don't actually remove it all at once so a good waxing will last several washes.

Op all depends on products you are using.

For best results you should do a full prep job on body before you wax.

Need to wash using 2bucket method using a micro fibre mitt.
De tar
De iron
Clay
Wash with all purpose cleaner.then normal wash using a good brand foam.
Wax and seal should do you a few months.

Waxing the car will protect the paintwork long term by being a layer that can stop contamination sticking to painted surface and damaging it, it's not just a case of shiny finish.
