NFL Newbie - Fantasy Help

    Hi All,

    Firstly apologies for anything which may come across as "stupid".

    I've recently decided to join a league with my long term GF's brother as a way of Bonding, getting some kind of rapport going. It has cost me 25 quid, but I want to give this a bash so that at family dinners etc we have something to chat about.

    Can anyone give me a summation of how it works? I understand it's not like the soccer version where scores accumulate on players and it's just a leaguye based on points added. This I'm told is where people face each other in games?

    Our live draft is tonight at 9.30pm. Is there any certain players I should be hoping to draft onto my team etc?

    Any help/tips would be much appreciated

    For a complete newb, get reading here: http://www.nfl.com/fantasyfootball

    You can also do some mock drafts there to get a feel for what players are being taken in what rounds.

    Stud RB's are worth their weight in Gold, unless the top 5 are off the board, dont look at another position.

    While the draft is important, keeping up to speed on injuries and playing the waiver wire is key.
