New nct certs are a bit greenish now.
Mine passed 10 days ago, definitely not yellow anymore.

The perforations on the edge of the tax disc are a good idea all the same. All too many people do no checks at all when buying a car, if you verified seller was owner, nct disc was legit you would probably knock out 99% of dodgy dealings.

The nct cert looks dodgy alright but I wouldn't have noticed the edges of the tax disk, I always inspect these things closely, to many con men out there

Yea, why go to the bother of faking a tax disc unless the car is stolen and cloned off a legit taxed car with no nct. The VIN would be worth checking but who's to say the VLC isn't fake either. The whole hog....:(

Just run the Volvo through the history check I have access to, and it's showing taxed until Feb 16 on there.

NCT is showing as expired Jul 2015, but I know the info from this check isn't always correct.
