Need a van

    Hey guys,

    Looking for advice in buying a van. Budget is crap so it's gonna be an 05 or 06 (around 3000eruo). I've had an Opel Vivaro before but the same as all these vans, the gear box gave up. Then I had a Transit fwd 2 litre. Good van but the chasis was eaten with rust ( I was told this was common in all the fwd transits ) so what would you guys recommend. It needs to be a swb minimum. No transit connects or the likes ( too small )

    I've heard that Mercedes Vitos are expensive to fix and the injectors can give trouble. I'd be open to a 2.4l rwd transit but I heard the dual mass flywheel can give trouble. Would a hiace be the best option?

    I'm in similar boat and I'm watching this thread. I invested in a 09 caddy and I had to spend over a grand on a new turbo and that was only the start of it. Locks dash clocks to name but a few issues. By the time I'd everything fixed I was into it for too much money so I'd to move it on at a loss I might add..
