Is it a good day to spreadbet and make money on the way down?

    Is there a killing to be made today when America wakes up?
    Considering the markets are getting hammered today is it a safe bet to have a small stop loss in case theres a rise but a large amount bet on the likes of s&p dropping when it opens.
    I've never bet a large amount but I'm thinking of maybe putting 5k in my etoro account this morning, it looks like a no brainer or am I missing something?

    To be honest I think the more seasoned traders are equipped to deal with missing out on days like today. These conditions are not optimal for trading, in fact in most cases you'd be told to stay away. By staying away you can at least guarantee capital preservation. This to many traders is more valuable than the off chance you could have gotten lucky and made 1000 points +.
