sound intensity level Q(SIL)

Calculate the total sound intensity level (SIL) caused by the combination of sound intensity levels of 89 dB and 90 dB. Can I use this formula below 90+89 =10 log10 (to the base) (10 [90/10] + 10 [80/10]) Any help appreciated Answer is sposed to be 92.79 but I can't get it!

The quantities within the log should be powers.

10 log_10 (10^9 + 10^8.9) = 92.54 dB
