Recommend tablet for reading comics

I'm looking for a tablet to use exclusively for reading comics. My main requirements are > 10 inch screen and a ppi > 200. It will need to take a memory card and be compatible with the Comixology app.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is good value at the moment but the ppi is a bit low. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S would be ideal but is very expensive.

    Any suggestions?

Nexus 9... It doesn't have a memory card slot, but this screen ratio is meant to be great for reading comics...

The light bleed will be very noticeable on white/coloured pages while reading.

That's not an issue with mine, and I'm sure it was solved after the initial batch... It's still getting great reviews

I bought a Nexus 9 and one of the main reasons is that it's the "right" size for comics.

However, if you are going with Comixology, and guided view, then perhaps you will be ok on a smaller screen.

I can live with the small bit of light bleed that's on my device - if that's an issue for you I'd suggest an iPad. I've never used a Samsung tablet but I've had Samsung android phones and found them lacking.

Comics would look gorgeous on the Tab S. Those SuperAMOLED screens are hard to beat.

I'm really not a fan of guided view.

Is the nexus 9 screen big enough to view comics? Thought it may have been a bit small.

IPad, Nexus 9, Tab S are both €400 plus. Anything cheaper available? Any experience with the Lenovo YOGA 2? I can get 32GB version direct from lenovo for €260, a good 150 cheaper than the Samsung or Nexus ones.

Hurm, I can get a Nexus 9 16GB from Argos for 280. However no external memory. How would that compare to the 32GB Yoga 2 for 260, with an SD card. The Nexus 9 display is better, however it has lower battery life. From a purely comix POV I think the Yoga may be better value.

Anyone have a Tesco Hudl 2?
