Get one that says "Only God Can Judge Me" and get it on your neck. Employment opportunities will soar.

Spend as much as you can afford. You really do get what you pay for.

Get the dyslexic version "Only Dog Can Jugde Em"

Make sure you really research it and maybe pick a design and location for it and then wait a few months to see if you still like it.

Im currently getting my tattoo removed its a long, expensive and slightly sore process.

Don't do it OP would be my advice .. most of them look crap - especially years later, and as michelle points out above, removing them is expensive and painful.

Never saw the appeal myself.. people trying to be "individual" by looking the same as the rest of their social circle.

    +1

Most people that get tatts are trying to make themselves look more "interesting" and "edgy"... etc

But they're so common these days, that nobody is actually achieving this goal. They just look like branded cattle that all came from the same farmer's field... :p

Of all the places to ask this question, OP, you've just stuck a bleeding arm into a shark tank, going by the last thread about tattoos. Really really would suggest you flee to the tattoo forum while you still have all your limbs!

OP, there's a Tattoo forum somewhere on Boards, can't remember where exactly, but that's a better place for advice.

Seen this on someone's neck last week. It looked ridiculous and silly.

    As Ozzy Osborne once said:

"Every cnut has a tattoo these days. If you want to be cool and be different, DONT get one."

My advice is always the same. Carry around a picture on a piece of paper and show it to people.

My brother was going to get one, but instead he bought some temporary tattoo marker that lasts a month or two (I think)

He drew the rough design he was going to get and after about two weeks he hated it, so he's decided against getting a tattoo.

Not sure what my point is actually..

If I was getting one, which I probably never will, I'd have to find out who's known as basically the best artist in Ireland or even England, even if it meant waiting months/years and paying thousands. You'd feel better knowing the best possible person did the job.

It's a good point; try it in a non-permanent way before you get it. Before I got mine I drew it on for a month with eyeliner.

Watch tattoo fixers. The only option if you don't like a tattoo is expensive removal or getting a bigger tattoo to cover it, both options involve pain. If you cover it what happens when you don't like the cover after a while.

If you still want a tattoo go to the tattoo forum for advice on the best artist to go to. Make sure that they have quality equipment and even better quality sterilisation equipment, which they know how to use. Whatever you do don't do it on holidays after a feed of alcohol.

Make sure it's something you really want and like.

Research portfolios and find someone that's excellent at that style.

    Then just do it.

    What you thinking of getting?

Figure of speech just make sure you are going to be happy with it n years to come. I am 60 and I am getting a new one in two weeks time big I thought about it for a long time and know exactly what I want and I am happy with the artist that I have doing it

And their work is not that great either! Watched most of the series, most of the cover ups are nothing special.

Script is pretty easy for any decent artist. Have a look at the tattoo forum or drop into a couple of studios and see what you think.
