Protected Directory and Google search results

If you protect a directory with a username and password, will your page still show up on google search results? (Would like to have the option for it not too). Thanks

If it's pass protected it won't appear, as the Google Bot (and everything else) won't be able to access it
If the page is linked to then the fact that it exists would possibly be listed
