Equipment for vaping VG juice?

Hi, I need some advice on equipment. I'm new to vaping, I'm off cigarettes with 6 weeks and using an 'Inspired Vapour 1100mah' with an Aspire tank. Through trial and error I've discovered that I cant tolerate PG.

I'm using organic VG diluted with water, bought ready bottled from the shop with 18mg nicotine. My problem is I'm not getting enough of a throat hit to satisfy. Do I increase my nic level or do I need to upgrade my equipment.

How much water to vg are you using? Is it 50/50?

It comes already mixed in a bottle, it has 10% water.

Using a higher power vaporiser may help, the idea being that a hotter vape will give a better throat sensation.

Try mentol or mint flavors. Strong citrus may help too.

There are additives such as Flavour Art's BiteXtra that could be added.

More nic will add throat hit for sure but vape folk tend to use less and less nic over time and just enjoy the many various flavors out there.

I think, and have only my own experience and other anecdotal evidence to back it up, that as suggested above, more powerful devices paired with the new generation atomisers will in fact give a much more satisfying vape.
Something like the iStick 30 or 50w paired with a Kanger Subtank mini using its .5ohm coil will give you such a powerful hit that you most certainly won't be able to use your 18mg liquid in it for long.
My advice for you is to go to a proper vape store and ask to try one out, though to be honest I'm not sure any I know of use that equipment as their samples.
What I can tell you truthfully is no-one I know who has a similar device can tolerate vaping anything over 12mg, and most are reduced to 3,4 & 6mg liquids.

If you are in Dublin city centre I would have no problem meeting you and letting you try out my gear if you cannot find somewhere to test it yourself.
