Polycarbonate sheets?

    Hi all,

I've built the frame for my glass house and am thinking of using polycarbonate sheets to glaze said structure. The maximum panel size is ~ 2ft X 1ft so my question is would there be any reason to go thicker than 2mm

I was speaking to a sales agent for a supplier and he said the standard grade sheets do not go opaque at all. Can anybody confirm this?

Also i'm wondering could anybody recommend a supplier?

    Cheers in advance!

    what do u mean by
    go opaque

U will need one that is uv treated on the outside and make sure it is fitted the right way around: normally yellow removable film on outside and green on inside

That the clarity will be reduced over time by sunlight.

Just having a browse through the 365 plastics website and have found the UV grade stuff. Its a good bit more expensive. Is it necessary is what i'm wondering?
