Advice on Tyres for Shimano RS610 Tubeless Clincher Wheels

I bought a set of Shimano RS610 Tubeless Clincher Wheels recently and happy with them.

One thing is that I have tried 2 continental Foldable tyres on them and its a massive struggle to get either on. No chance of getting them on without levers.

Im dreading trying to take them off on the side of the road.

    Im not going tubeless.

The Giant tyres that came with the bike go on them easily and other cheap rubino ones I use for the turbo are easy too.

Anyone any tips that might make it easier or any other sub €30 tyres that would go on easily...

Would non foldables go on easier ?

I've never ridden tubeless, but have heard that Schwalbe One tubeless are the business. They are a bit pricey, but if you shop around online you can probably get them for a good price.

I have a set of those wheels and use folding gp4000s on them with no problems. May need a lever to get them started/finished but not as bad as some.
The profile of the rim bed is different in a tubeless compatible rim so make sure that when putting on tyre the rim bead is in the centre as this gives you some slack to work with.

Dunno what type of contis you're using but I've got those wheels and am running gp4000s. I wouldn't say they go on easily without levers but they do go on!

Great wheels btw, very impressed with their performance over the last six months.

    Grandprix TX and Supersonic ones.
    They are on my commuter.

    Will try gp4000s.

I have wh-m785 tubeless wheelset with the same rim profile and gp4000s mount no problem as long as you remember to keep the bead in the centre channel while mounting. Take a closer look inside - the rim is deeper in the centre than at the edges.
